I would say this painting has a limited color pallete.He really used that dark dock to push the city scape back as well as making the cityscape really light.I'm kinda gettin the monochromatic feel from this piece.Emotionally im gettin a kind of rise and shine time for my first cup of joe time feeling.
I would also categorize this piece under limited as well.It seems as if if there are just blurry sillouettes.Again im getting the monochromatic vibe.As far as feeling goes i would say ominous and gloomy.
This one is definately more of a broad pallette.I would say it has more of a split complimentary color scheme because it creates harmony through a balance of opposing forces.This version really gives stormy vibe.
