I think it was a good idea.I think that there is too much hype and contaversy surrounding the font though.When i'm designing i do not get involved with the politics of it all.If it looks good it looks good.Its great for the greater more official signs.Like government,medical,police,and traffic signs because its familiar and legible.
I liked david carson because he did not really care about the saga of helvetica.
Overall the movie was good.Like i said though,i don't care much for the drama surrounding helveticaWhat i enjoyed the most was just designers in there work environments because its kinda like a glimpse of what my future work place might be like.I never realized how much helvetica is out there and in your face all the time.
